How the grader works
How is the follow-up email scored?
Seven checks, each worth a fixed number of points: a recap of what the buyer told you (20), the thing you promised delivered or dated (20), one next step with a day or date (20), 150 words or fewer (15), one or two questions (10), a specific subject line under 60 characters (10), and no filler phrases such as "just checking in" (5). The score is the sum of the checks that pass.
Does it use AI to read my email?
No. It is a set of plain rules that look for specific signals, such as a weekday or date near a proposed next step, or a link or "as promised" for the thing you said you would send. That makes it predictable, and it also means it can miss a good email phrased an unusual way. Treat a failed check as a prompt to look, not a verdict.
What should a follow-up email after a sales call include?
A two-line recap of what they told you, in their words; the thing you promised, attached or with a date; one next step with a day; and one question that is easy to answer. Keep it under 150 words and send it the same day. The full guide has seven templates.
Is my email stored or sent anywhere?
No. The grader runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server or saved.
Can follow-up emails be drafted automatically?
Yes. The follow-up can be drafted from the call transcript, with a person approving it before it sends and a copy logged to the CRM. That is the part of the job Mindlyft builds and maintains for teams that would rather not write these by hand.
