Mindlyft vs Momentum

Momentum is now part of Salesforce and integrates only with Salesforce. Mindlyft runs post-call execution on Salesforce or HubSpot, writes into Jira, Gmail and Slack, and puts a human approval on every AI action. How they differ and who each fits.

01

What changed when Salesforce bought Momentum

Salesforce signed a definitive agreement to acquire Momentum on February 18, 2026 and completed the deal on March 2, 2026. Its announcement says Momentum's universal ingestion engine will integrate with Agentforce 360 and Slackbot to capture conversations from tools like Zoom and Google Meet. For Salesforce-standardized teams that is a coherent roadmap. For everyone else, the practical question is whether the tool will meet the stack you actually run, and on what timeline.

02

The HubSpot and mixed-stack gap

Momentum's supported-CRM page says it integrates only with Salesforce and that HubSpot and other CRMs are on the roadmap. Many 20 to 300 person SaaS companies run HubSpot, or run Salesforce for sales and different tools for support and success. Post-call promises cross those lines: the opportunity update lives in the CRM, the bug lands in Jira, the recap goes out by email. Mindlyft drafts each of those writes in the tool where it belongs and routes them to one approval queue.

03

Why the approval layer matters more after an acquisition

When an AI system writes into your CRM and emails your customers, the risk is quiet corruption: a wrong stage, a duplicate record, a recap that promised the wrong thing. Mindlyft treats the human approval gate as the product: agents draft, a named owner approves anything customer-facing or irreversible, and every write is logged and can be undone. Whatever tool you choose, ask the vendor to show you exactly which writes happen without a human and how you reverse one.

04

The verdict

Choose Momentum, now within Salesforce, if your revenue team is standardized on Salesforce and you plan to adopt Agentforce 360 and Slackbot. Choose Mindlyft if you run HubSpot or a mixed stack, if post-call work needs to reach tickets, email and Slack as well as the CRM, or if you want a human approval and an audit trail on every AI action. Confirm current offerings with each vendor before deciding.

FAQ

Is Momentum still available after the Salesforce acquisition?

Momentum's site still shows its product and sign-up, with a banner that it is now part of Salesforce. Salesforce says Momentum's ingestion engine will integrate with Agentforce 360 and Slackbot. Confirm availability, pricing and roadmap for your account directly with Salesforce.

Does Momentum work with HubSpot?

Not today, according to Momentum's own supported-CRM page, which says it integrates only with Salesforce and lists HubSpot and other CRMs as roadmap items. Mindlyft supports both Salesforce and HubSpot.

What is the best Momentum alternative for HubSpot teams?

Look for a tool that writes post-call actions into HubSpot and the tools around it, tickets, email and Slack, and that lets a person approve customer-facing writes before they ship. Mindlyft is built for that, as a subscription that runs inside your own stack.

How do I switch from Momentum to Mindlyft?

Start with one call type, such as renewal calls, and one team. Mindlyft maps which writes that call should produce and who approves them, runs it in a sandbox first, then in production. The free 30-minute GTM engineering review is where that first workflow gets scoped.
