Washington renamed AI to SI. Your agents still need a human yes.
On September 29 the White House switched to “super intelligence” and seven AI leaders signed an accord built on four layers of control. It covers the labs, not you. Here is what it says, and the same four layers applied to the agents writing into your CRM.

An executive order renames AI
Federal agencies must say "super intelligence" instead of "artificial intelligence" in official correspondence, websites, reports and policy documents.

Seven leaders sign an accord
Sundar Pichai, Dario Amodei, Mark Zuckerberg, Greg Brockman, Elon Musk and Jensen Huang signed it alongside the President. It sets out four layers of control for companies that train and deploy frontier models.

A Super Intelligence Force is named
Led by DNI Jay Clayton, with FTC Chairman Andrew Ferguson, Pentagon CTO Emil Michael and OPM Director Scott Kupor. It coordinates the government's engagement with SI providers, AI companies and consumers.

A legal definition of SI is due
The order gives the President's science and technology adviser 60 days to propose legislative language defining "super intelligence", including whether it should replace the legal definition of AI.

The four layers
The accord asks the labs for four layers of control. Your agents need the same four.
The accord covers the companies that build frontier models. It does not regulate the teams that use them. But when an agent can email a customer or change a deal in your CRM, the same question applies: who checks it, and what proves it later.
Internal controls that monitor the models during training and deployment.
Scoped identity, narrow actions. Every agent that writes to your CRM, help desk or inbox runs under its own scoped identity and can only call narrow, named actions.
An internal team that oversees those controls.
A human yes on every write. A named person approves anything an agent sends to a customer or changes in a system of record, before it ships.
Partnerships with independent external auditors.
A receipt per write. Every agent write leaves a receipt: what changed, who approved it, when, and how to undo it, in a form you can hand to an auditor or a customer.
An independent committee that reviews reports from the internal team and the auditors.
Review cadence and a stop switch. Someone outside the team that deployed the agents reviews approval and rejection rates on a schedule, and one switch stops every agent's writes.
Score your stack in two minutes
Eight questions, two per layer. It runs in your browser and nothing is sent unless you ask for the review at the end.
The SI write-path check
0 / 8 answered
Layer 01 · Scoped identity, narrow actions
Each AI agent that writes to your CRM, help desk or email runs under its own login, not an admin or a shared integration user.
Layer 01 · Scoped identity, narrow actions
Agents can only call narrow, named actions (for example, set deal stage from a fixed list), not free-form queries or raw API access.
Layer 02 · A human yes on every write
A named person approves anything an agent sends to a customer or changes in a system of record, before it ships.
Layer 02 · A human yes on every write
Reviewers see the full proposed change, with before and after values, and can reject it in one step.
Layer 03 · A receipt per write
Every agent write leaves a record of what changed, who approved it, when, and how to undo it.
Layer 03 · A receipt per write
You could hand that record to an auditor or a customer today without any engineering work.
Layer 04 · Review cadence and a stop switch
Someone outside the team that deployed the agents reviews approval and rejection rates on a schedule.
Layer 04 · Review cadence and a stop switch
One switch stops every agent's writes across all connected tools at once.
Questions about SI
What is SI?
SI is short for super intelligence. Since an executive order signed on September 29, 2026, US federal agencies use "super intelligence" instead of "artificial intelligence" in official documents. The order also asks for a proposed legal definition within 60 days. In everyday use it still means the same systems: models like Claude, Gemini, GPT and Llama, and the agents built on them.
Does the White House accord apply to my company?
Not directly. The accord was signed by the leaders of companies that train and deploy frontier models (Google, Anthropic, Meta, OpenAI, xAI and Nvidia). It does not regulate the businesses that use those models. Its four layers of control are still a useful template for any team that lets agents act on customers or systems of record.
Is the accord binding?
House Speaker Mike Johnson described its commitments as voluntary, according to ABC News. Nextgov's report describes what was signed and does not mention enforcement.
What are the four layers in the accord?
As reported by Nextgov: internal controls that monitor models during training and deployment, an internal team that oversees those controls, partnerships with independent external auditors, and an independent committee that reviews reports from both.
What does Mindlyft do here?
Mindlyft engineers post-call execution for revenue teams: the CRM updates, tickets and follow-up emails a call creates are drafted by agents, and a named person approves each one before it ships. Every write is logged and reversible. It is the same four-layer shape, applied to the agents inside your own stack.
Claude and GPT bring the intelligence. You bring the yes.
Mindlyft engineers the post-call work, CRM updates, tickets and follow-ups, inside your own stack. Agents draft, a named person approves, and every write is logged and reversible.
